Iridescener Podcast is one that features in-depth interviews with professional photo-graphers as well as critics and curators in an attempt to shed light on meaningful topics. Focusing not only on the works and the creative process of featured photographers, the podcast also examines how they view society and humanity at large.

In this episode, we talked about nude photography, both male and female, including the works of Paul Kooiker, Lee Friedlander, Robert Mapplethorpe, Carmen Winant, among many others. We also talked about art institutions and some of their decisions that are quite controversial. 

WENDY VOGEL is a writer, critic and independent curator. A former editor at Flash Art International, Modern Painters and Art in America, she writes regularly about art and culture for a number of publications, including Artforum, art-agenda and MOUSSE. She has curated or co-curated exhibitions at the Hessel Museum at Bard College, The Kitchen, Abrons Art Center, VOLTA NY, bitforms and EFA Project Space. She currently teaches in the photography department at Parsons School of Design. In 2018, she received a Creative Capital Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant in Short-Form Writing.
